Over the years we have pioneered maps of the tourist areas in the Philippines, often going where no maps went before!
The only way was to get on your feet and walk, and walk, and walk. A hat, sunblock, and bottle of water were essential in this climate, as was a pair of comfortable shoes, and not forgetting a stick to wave at the ferral dogs!
Much debate, over a few cold ones, with our faithful readers over the years have honed these, and with the addition of the availablity of satelite immagery, not to perfection, but something we are at last fairly pleased with.
We are now developing a series of Pocket Map Guides covering our old stomping grounds of Manila, Angeles, Subic, and La Union. All of which will soon be available on the web.
