Virtual Angeles
Hi, Mabuhay to the P.I.,

Angeles City is becoming more like Vegas, with a hotch -potch of building styles from Egyptian to Classic Dutch, often almost next door to each-other. Bars come, and many have a brief butterfly’s existence.

In Subic the new SCTex (Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway) is now finally open, and journey times from Manila and Angeles are considerably reduced.

The Tarlac extension will also bring La Union closer (timewise) cutting the hour + drive from Angeles to Tarlac dramatically.
While up in La Union the beach beckons, and some of the Angeles business groups are eyeing the huge potential there.

With Asian Spirit now flying 3 times a week from Manila to San Fernando (La Union) Airport, and the construction of a 60 room hotel to complement the new Fiesta Casino on Wallace, and the closure of Baguio airport for runway repairs should guarantee a continuing service.

Check out our up-dated Getting There page bus listings, and new Manila Mass Transit and Bus Station maps.
